Bremerton-based KPS Health Plans began offering four healthcare plans for individuals and families in King County last March. Now, the company has announced it has once again expanded its reach to include all of the counties in Western Washington.
KPS has been providing healthcare insurance products in the Western Puget Sound region since 1946. Last year, the company began offering small group products in King County, as well as individual and Medicare supplement products.
KPS is sensitive to the lack of choices for consumers in the individual and family health insurance market, and we think the variety of options we offer will be essential for families in Western Washington,”aid Elizabeth Gilje, KPS president.
KPS offers a comprehensive-type plan with a $500 deductible and three catastrophic-type plans with $1,500, $2,500 and $5,000 deductible options. The plans are competitively priced and also include preventive care, vision benefits and prescription-drug benefits or discounts, depending on the product.
