SPECIAL REPORT - EXECUTIVE GIFT GIVING
For the holidays, get more personal
than personalized mugs
Put aside the traditionally logo-imprinted pen or mug, and embossed portfolio folder — it’s time for your businesses to get more creative with corporate gifts this holiday season. Business experts and professionals together continue to express the importance of corporate gifts, explaining that it builds a strong connection between client and employee satisfaction. However, sometimes it can be difficult for businesses to choose the best, most appropriate gift.

“When you send a gift to a client on behalf of your business you want to make sure it creates a lasting impression,” said Kelly White, of the Silverdale HoneyBaked Ham Co. and Café, located at 10516 Silverdale Way, #110, adding that the Café offers a variety of unique holiday gift solutions for area businesses. “The gift should enhance your company’s image and build on its brand value and reputation. That is why it is beneficial to get a gift that is unique, rather than a gift that is traditional and expected.”

White continued to say that is it important to find a gift that is appropriate for you business relationship with the client, and make sure the presentation for the gift is impressive. White suggested the following additional advice when choosing a corporate gift for clients during the holidays this year:

Do your homework — Do research on your client’s industry so that you are able to have the option of purchasing a holiday gift that could coincide with their business.

Be unique and creative — You don’t want to give your client something that they would probably get from another company. Brainstorm and make a statement.

Mark it with sincerity — With your gift, be sure to express how great they are as a client and how you enjoy working with them. Showing you care about your client is important.
