Is getting remarried a health hazard for men?
A study from the Harvard School of Public Health has found that men who marry again after the death of a spouse or a divorce, exercise less and gain more weight than men who remain single.

The study found that men who remarried ate more regularly, accounting for some of the heavier weights. The men who did not remarry were also thought to be suffering from depression in some cases, which caused them to maintain a lower weight, according to the study's author, Patricia Mona Eng.

Another contributing factor to the remarried men's higher weight levels was believed to be a lower need to look “buff” than single men had. Married men may also feel that they are too busy to go to the gym.
