Community Health and Mental Health
agencies collaborate with new hire

Peninsula Community Health Service (PCHS), in collaboration with Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS), will make available psychiatric consultation to their primary physicians through the services of a newly created position.

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), Mary Dunbar, a Bainbridge Island resident, has been tapped to fill the post. Dunbar’s credentials include Adult Psychiatric Nurse, and Adolescent and Child Clinical Nurse Specialist, as well as Geriatric Mental Health Specialist and Adolescent and Child Mental Health Specialist. She is also a Certified Chemical Dependency Counselor and a Licensed Social Worker.

Dunbar obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, her Master of Social Work, and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington. She brings over 30 years of experience in social work and nursing to her new position.
