Bremerton waterfront condos
set to break ground
Over 150 registrations already accepted in three weeks
Developer Mark Goldberg of Bremerton Waterfront, LLC recently announced that demolition and grading work has commenced on its impending waterfront condominium project located at 400 Washington Avenue in downtown Bremerton. The project is immediately north of the recently completed Bremerton Harborside complex, which includes the new convention center, Hampton Inn and Suites, retail and other planned residences. The project is one of many substantial private and public projects now reshaping downtown Bremerton.
The 66-unit, steel and concrete structure will feature a mix of studio, lofts, one bedroom and two bedroom condominiums ranging in price from below $200,000 to over $600,000. The project is the first residential community built in downtown Bremerton in nearly two decades.
“We are very excited to commence on this pre-development work.” says Goldberg, managing member of Bremerton Waterfront, LLC. He stated, “When complete in about 14 months, over 100 residents will realize the conveniences of walking to the ferry, living an urban lifestyle and enjoying the many benefits that will arrive as part of downtown Bremerton’s renaissance.”
Seattle-based Mithun Architects is the architect of record.
Project Marketer Dean Jones of Seattle-based Real Estate Applied Logics, Inc. says over 150 prospective buyers have already registered in less than 3 weeks. “Clearly there’s a lot of interest for this type of residential opportunity” says Jones, “I think the future of downtown Bremerton is very exciting, making many of these early buyers look like savvy investors in short order.” Jones added that a public marketing program is anticipated to commence in the coming months.
