Donna Casper, Sr. Vice President, American Marine Bank, recently presented a check for $1,250.00 to Chad Solvie, Administrator at Martha & Mary Health Center in Poulsbo. The funds will be used to purchase an electric bed for the facility.

Martha & Mary has received pledges and gifts that along with a fundraiser in February have brought the facility half-way to its $150,000 goal to purchase 120 beds. The resident controlled beds establish more independence and assist staff in moving residents from beds to wheel chairs and walkers.

The old mechanical beds are being donated to Clear Path International for use in the Philippines in hospital and clinics.
