Saturn tops J.D. Power sales satisfaction study

For the third consecutive year, Saturn ranked highest in sales satisfaction — with Cadillac taking the No. 2 spot — in the 2002 J.D. Power and Associates Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) Study that was announced recently.

Saturn’s win comes on the heels of earning the top spot in the J.D. Power Customer Service Index (CSI) Study last month. This is the first time that a non-luxury brand has earned top billing in both the SSI study and the CSI study in the same year.

Several other GM brands also did well in the newly announced SSI study. In addition to Cadillac taking the No. 2 spot, Buick was among the “Top 10” and Oldsmobile, Saab, GMC, Chevrolet and Pontiac all finished above industry average.
