John L. Scott honored with top tech award
John L. Scott Real Estate, which operates six offices in Kitsap County and one in Gig Harbor, was recently honored with the prestigious Inman Innovator Award as the “Most Innovative Real Estate Company” in the nation. The award was presented at a recent national technology conference held in San Francisco. The highly coveted Inman Innovator Award is bestowed by Inman News, the real estate industry’s largest online news source and is considered the industry’s highest honor in real estate technology. This is the seventh year the award has been given, honoring those companies and individuals who have driven innovation in the real estate industry.

John L. Scott Real Estate was selected because of the role the company, and its Chairman and CEO, J. Lennox Scott, has played over the years as a pioneer and driver of real estate innovation.

John L. Scott was the first real estate company in the Pacific Northwest to post photos of its entire inventory of homes on its Web site, www.johnlscott.com, back in 1995-and it was one of the first companies to do so in the nation.

Scott, who himself has been recognized for being one of the most influential people in the nation in real estate and serves on the board of directors of the National Association of Realtors, was honored to receive the coveted award.

“The Inman Innovator Award is the highest honor a real estate company can receive for its Web site,” said Scott, “It’s truly a compliment to the incredible team we have here at John L. Scott.”

John L. Scott has 113 offices and over 2,900 sales associates located throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho and is the fourth largest regional real estate company in the nation. It will be launching a new version of the company’s award-winning Web site later this year, which is expected to set future trends for real estate companies across the United States.
