Brenda Prowse, Broker of Brenda Prowse Properties in Poulsbo, recently donated $1,305 to StandUp for Kids. Carol Peart accepted the donation on behalf of the Bremerton Chapter of the organization. The donation represents a portion of Prowse’s commission earned from the recent sale of a client’s home in Silverdale.

StandUp for Kids is a national, not-for-profit organization founded in 1990 to help rescue homeless and at-risk youth living on the street. Local volunteers such as Peart take to the streets to provide support and assistance to homeless and at-risk youth in our community. The organization also operates a van to support the needs of the homeless, and behind the message of support offers an array of counseling and assistance programs to encourage and guide kids in becoming effective members of their community.
