| Marion Peterson, ARDMS, of Advanced Medical Imaging (AMI), has attained special recognition by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as one of the first 500 sonography professionals nationwide.
To earn the honor, Peterson, who has been with AMI since 1983, had to demonstrate a high level of competency in the theory and practice of breast ultrasound, by successfully completing the ARDMS Breast Specialty examination. She has received a special certificate recognizing her as a Breast Ultrasound Pioneer. The exam has only been offered since July, 2001. |
