| Citizens interested in public service are encouraged to apply for the two Kitsap County openings on the Peninsula Regional Support Network (PRSN) Advisory Board. Volunteer board members help ensure local needs are met, clients receive high-quality services and taxpayers get full value from their dollars.
The 15-member PRSN citizen advisory board works with the executive board to provide guidance and program oversight for mental health programs in the Kitsap, Jefferson and Clallam County region. They also help determine procedures and a service plan for the delivery of mental health services in those counties. Board members receive reimbursement for travel to monthly meetings, which are held in Chimacum.
Persons with disabilities, racial and ethnic minorities, mental health consumers and their family members are encouraged to apply. For an application packet, contact Kitsap County Volunteer Services Coordinator, Jan Koske, at (360) 337-4650 or Peninsula Regional Support Network at 800-525-5637. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25. |
