Ticker talk
   Some companies don’t miss a trick when it comes to reinforcing their brand identity. They’ve even added stock ticker symbols—the one- to four-letter symbols that scroll across the bottom of the screen on some finance shows — to the marketing mix. Any company can request a specific ticker symbol, say exchange officials, and if it isn’t spoken for, it will probably be granted. For inspiration, consider these:

* Sunglass Hut International Inc.: RAYS
* Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc.: YUM
