| The first in a series of free workshops and seminars for small business sponsored by Kitsap Financial Services (KFS) will be held July 12, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
KFS is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union (KCFCU). According to Susan L. Harrington, KFS President, the workshop is open to any Kitsap County business person. Credit union membership is not required.
The initial program will be held at the Central Branch of Kitsap Regional Library in East Bremerton and feature a panel of speakers on business and retirement planning.
Speakers include Jon Schultz, CFP, of Kitsap Financial Services, who will speak on retirement planning; Brett Jorgenson, vice president of lending for KCFCU, who will discuss financing; and Richard K. Green, president of Integrated Business Resources, speaking on business plan preparation. Carol Y. Schillios, president of Schillios Consulting Group, will present a case study during lunch based on her international work assisting new businesses in developing countries.
