Christmas list got your goat? Give one,
make it meaningful
By Teri Johnson
In the bustle of holidays in the US, people often lose touch with the meaning for exchanging gifts – to share love, to reach out a helping hand, to say, “I care.”

This Christmas, people can share love with children and families around the world by shopping in the World Concern Global Gift Guide. For instance, a gift of $50 will supply a family in Haiti with the gift of a breeding goat, which will become a source of income for education for the children. A $100 gift will provide a Bolivian woman with a loan to start or expand a small business. When she repays the loan, it will be placed in a revolving fund, giving to others in her community for years to come.
Global Gift Guide gifts represent hope and provide spiritual nourishment for both the recipient and the sender. They can be given in honor of a loved one, adding real meaning to the holidays. Family, friends, coworkers, a child’s teacher, a pastor… many people enjoy receiving meaningful gifts that help others.

Other unique Global Gift Guide gifts include items such as rabbits, fishing equipment, modern beehives, cows, and Christian camp for orphans. Prices range from $15 to $500 (U.S. funds).

For more information, visit World Concern online at www.worldconcern.org or call toll-free at (800) 739-9800 to order gifts with a credit card. All gifts are tax-deductible.
