| A seminar entitled “Balancing Your Portfolio’s Risk — Diversify with Managed Futures,” will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the Silverdale Hotel & Resort from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. The announcement was made by Christopher Reilly, president of Olympic Asset Management n Port Orchard, which is the company sponsoring the seminar on commodities trading for those interested in learning about portfolio diversification.
Ron Gage, Chief Executive Officer of Lloyd Henry Company, Inc., a company that conducts institutional futures trading (banks, pensions and corporations) will serve as the featured guest speaker. He is a Guaranteed Introducing Broker of Refco Inc. and a former Federal Reserve Bank Manager and treasurer and chief financial officer of Fortune 500 corporations.
Henry’s presentation will focus on corporate risk management and how the futures market should be approached from a hedging standpoint. During the seminar, Reilly will also address individual and corporate portfolio non-financial futures products diversification.
