| The print version of the Kitsap Business Journal, Volume 12, Number 13, which was published on June 26, contained several errors in the banking roundup story that appeared on Page B-6.
Al Blossey was identified as the president and CEO of Pacific Northwest Bank, which is owned by InterWest Bank. Blossey actually serves as vice president and area manager. Patrick M. Fahey is the president and CEO of InterWest.
Under the heading of Wells Fargo Bank, it was stated that Wells Fargo had purchased the Kitsap County branches of InterWest Bank. This is incorrect. Wells Fargo purchased the First Interstate Bank branches.
Larry Elfendahl was identified as manager of the East Bremerton branch of Washington Federal Savings. He is the manager of the Poulsbo branch. Glenda Nichols manages the East Bremerton branch.
Earlene Fantz was identified as the president of Kitsap Community Federal Credit Union, when she is in fact the senior vice president and chief operations manager.
The Kitsap Business Journal apologizes for the errors.
