| The Harrison Foundation Golf Classic has been set for July 8 at Kitsap Golf and Country Club. The 14th annual fundraising event will commence with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
The popular tournament raised over $33,000 last year on behalf of Harrison Memorial Hospital. The event has gained a reputation over the years as being one of the county’s most fun local fund-raisers due to its great prizes, camaraderie and entertaining awards banquet.
N.L. Olson and Associates, Spaeth Transfer, Inc. and Land Title have agreed to be the major sponsors of the event again this year, The trio of local firms hosted the event last year as well.
Jim Ryan of Ryan, Sells and Uptegraft Inc., P.S. and Tim Arnold of Bradley Scott, Inc. are co-chairs of the event. The pair have golfed in this tournament every year since inception in 1987.
The entry fee of $100 includes green fees, a tournament logo memento, the awards banquet, competition for great golf prizes and prize money redeemable in the KGCC Pro Shop.
