| Seattle-based mortgage lender Continental Savings Bank has quietly changed its name to HomeStreet Bank as part of a larger effort to offer new services and making its business more accessible through the Internet.
According to senior vice president of marketing Richard Bendix, the renaming is no rebirth and insists that its core business as a full-service regional community bank remains intact. “We pride ourselves in being a regional organization,” he said.
The name change coincides with the coming introduction of a new Web site on May 15. |
