The Suquamish Tribe Transitional House is now complete announced Miles Yanick, architect. The house is located on Augusta Street in Suquamish. The facility will provide temporary housing for tribal members in transition from drug and alcohol programs to reintegration into the community.
The building is divided into three major areas. The mens wing and womens wing are located at opposite ends of the building, and are joined by common facilities between the wings. There is a cluster of four two-person bedrooms in each wing surrounded by bathrooms and clothes washing facilities. The central core or common area houses the staff directors quarters, a large communal kitchen, dining and lounge areas.

PDC dismisses unions complaint against BIAW |
The Washington State Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) summarily dismissed a complaint filed by the Washington State Labor Council alleging Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) violated campaign finance laws on Initiative 841, BIAWs measure repealing ergonomics regulations.
In its complaint, the WSLC accused BIAW of various campaign finance violations. BIAW offered irrefutable proof to the PDC that all of the WSLCs allegations were unfounded and meritless. The PDC substantiated this and dismissed those allegations.
