Gov. Gregoire approves change to license law |
|
Kitsap County Association of Realtors Executive Mike Eliason joined officials from the Department of Licensing at a bill signing ceremony in which Washington Governor Chris Gregoire signed SHB 2778 into law. The legislation, which will take effect in June 2010, modifies Washington’s real estate licensing law by establishing new definitions for real estate salespersons and brokers, increasing licensing and educational requirements for real estate licensees, and improving supervision and oversight over new licensees by more experienced licensees. |
