The Homebuilders Association of Kitsap County (HBA) does more than construct safe buildings; its members also help to build a safer community through its various partnerships. On Feb. 11, Donna Jones, program director for Volunteer Chore Services along with retired Boeing Volunteer, Dan Nordmark, received a check from HBA Board Member and Bike & Rod Co-Chair Bob Simonoff of Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings to support the ongoing purchase of grab bars for Hang on Kitsap, a fall prevention program to install grab bars in bathrooms of the elderly and differently-abled citizens.
