Scott Home Services, an online resource where consumers can connect and upgrade home utilities and services. The service is provided in partnership with WhiteFence, the nation’s leading online marketplace for utilities and home services.
“Dealing with home services can be time consuming and confusing,” said Scott, “But the John L. Scott Home Services website makes it simple and can save our clients hours of precious time when moving into a new home.”
The services that are offered include connection of gas/electricity, cable/satellite TV, and local and long distance telephone service. Visitors to HomeServices.JohnLScott.com can also compare the prices of competing service providers, upgrade existing service packages, and make a change of address with the U.S. Postal Service. “Our goal is to provide the best possible experience through all phases of homeownership, including moving,” said Scott.
The second upgrade is an enhancement to the site’s interactive mapping tool. Now can view sold home information right along side homes for sale. John L. Scott originally launched comparable sold property information in 2006 which appeared on its own mapping interface, but with this latest enhancement, consumers can view all homes for sale as well as those that recently sold on one interactive map.
“Consumers no longer have to view two separate maps to access sold property information and current inventory for sale,” said Scott. “By having all of this information viewable on one map, we’re providing comprehensive property information in one convenient place.”
