The Homebuilders Association of Kitsap County (HBA)recently honored its own, when the Remodelor’s Council presented its annual REX Awards at the group’s November meeting. On hand to witness the presentation and keynote speaker for the evening was County Commissioner Steve Bauer. Bauer’s appearance marks the first time a North Kitsap Commissioner has addressed the group in well over a decade.
The REX Awards are bestowed for excellence in remodeling work, and are recognized as the highest award in the remodeling profession.
There were only four overall winners, but the same four remodelers won in nine different categories.
Winning in the category, “Residential Kitchen Remodel Under $30,000, was Joe Gates Construction of Poulsbo for the McGready Kitchen Remodel in Bremerton.
Winning in the category, “Residential Kitchen Remodel, $30,000 to $60,000 was Accurate Builders for the Barrett Kitchen Remodel in Bremerton.
Winning in the category, “Residential Kitchen Remodel Over $60,000 was Accurate Builders again, for the Fortin Kitchen Remodel in Poulsbo.
In the category, “Residential Bath Remodel Under $12,000 the winner was Joe Gates Construction, for the George Bathroom Remodel in Poulsbo.
Winning in the category, “Residential Addition Over $150,000, was once again, Joe Gates Construction, for the Rosenzweig Addition in Poulsbo.
Winning in the category, “Residential Whole House Remodel, $150,000 to $250,000 was again, Accurate Builders, for the Taplin Remodel in Poulsbo.
Winning in the category, “Residential Whole House Remodel, Over $250,000, was T. N. Miller Remodeling, for the Doyle Remodel in Allyn.
Winning in the category, “Commercial Remodel Under $100,000, was Joe Gates Construction, for the Gates Office Remodel in Poulsbo.
Winning in the category, Commercial Remodel Over $250,000 was the BJC Group of Port Orchard for the Doctor’s Clinic Remodel in Silverdale.
