| Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County is planning to start a new project in Keyport on Stiles Street, and is seeking volunteers to help in all phases of construction from foundations to finish. Additionally, Habitat is seeking carpenters and contractors to provide skilled labor and mentoring of unskilled volunteers.
Groundbreaking is set for Saturday, Nov. 12 at 8 a.m. with foundation construction to start immediately after at 9 a.m.
The public is invited to find out more about the project and what kind of help is needed by attending an informational and orientation meetings scheduled in Keyport. The meetings will be held on Thursday, Nov. 3 and 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the Keyport Bible Church located at 15270 Washington Ave. NE in Keyport. |
