| The John L. Scott Foundation has committed $25,000 in sponsorship support for the 2005 Festival of Trees, benefiting Harrison Medical Center. The commitment is the largest ever from a single sponsor in the 19-year history of the event.
Held Thanksgiving weekend, the Festival of Trees is the Harrison Foundation's signature fundraising event benefiting Harrison Medical Center. Since its inception in 1987 the holiday event has generated more than $2 million dollars in net proceeds to support enhanced medical care at Harrison. This year's proceeds will benefit the organization's pediatric rehabilitation program, serving more than 200 children from the Kitsap and Olympic peninsulas.
J. Lennox Scott, chairman and CEO of John L. Scott Real Estate and chairperson of the John L. Scott Foundation, says that he and his agents are dedicated to the cause of children's healthcare. There is no greater way to give back to the community than to serve the medical needs of children, says Scott. Harrison Medical Center offers outstanding services and support for the children in this area; it's an honor to be a part of their healthcare efforts.. |
