The Kitsap County Association of Realtors, recently recognized six members of Kitsaps legislative delegation for their support of Realtor Quality of Life issues.
State Senator Phil Rockefeller received the Open Door Award in recognition of his accessibility to constituents;
Representative Sherry Appleton received the Stepping Up Award for her opposition to increases in real estate excise tax;
Representative Derek Kilmer received the Legislator Rookie of the Year award for his commitments to economic development and transportation issues;
Representative Pat Lantz received the Realtor Achievement Award for her efforts to reform condominium construction liability insurance and amend Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreements;
Representative Beverly Woods and Senator Tim Sheldon both received the Friend of Realtors awards for their steadfast support of Quality of Life issues.
