In an effort to illustrate permitting problems in Washington communities, the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) is seeking testimonials about nightmarish, worst case scenarios on permitting delays. If you have an especially compelling example of delays in permitting, and would be willing to share your experience, please consider the following:

• Be certain the information provided is relevant to your story.
• Describe the obstacles faced, actions taken, and the outcomes achieved.

   Your testimonial may be used by BIAW to bolster evidence presented to the Legislature on permitting problems encountered throughout Washington State. If your story is used by BIAW, and submitted to the Legislature, it would become part of a public record.
