Peoples Bank names Barbara Wight
as real estate loan rep

Barbara Wight, a well-known and respected local banker, has signed on as a real estate loan representative with the People’s Bank Silverdale Home Loan Center.
Wight brings over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 10 years in mortgage lending. She has additional experience as an operations officer and branch manager, working with First National Bank of Port Orchard, which later became Pacific Northwest Bank before it was sold to Well Fargo.

Wight, a resident of Kitsap County for over 25 years, also serves as treasurer of the Lee Belas International Scholarship Foundation, and previously served as past coordinator for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and past Treasurer of the South Kitsap Rotary Club.

“We are thrilled to have Barbara join Patti Lawson-Darling and Marjie Taylor at our Silverdale Home Loan Center,” commented Ken Larsen, senior vice president and real estate loan manager for People’s Bank. “She has many years of mortgage lending experience and, combined with her knowledge of the local area, she will be a valuable asset to the bank, our customers, and the local community.”.
