Rice Fergus Miller Architecture and Planning is nearing the completion of early design documents for Timber Ridge, a new Continuing Care Retirement Community to be built at Talus in Issaquah. Life Care Services Corporation of Des Moines, Iowa, is the developer.

The project has been carefully planned to provide convenience, companionship, service and security where residents celebrate their independence and live their lives to the fullest. When completed, the project will include 301 independent apartments, 29 assisted living apartments, and 59 skilled nursing beds.

Common areas will include restaurants, a wellness/spa area with pool, convenience store, and hobby areas. Secure below-building parking will be provided for residents and staff. The building, when completed, will be approximately 740,000 square feet and stand 7 stories tall, with views of the Cascade foothills.
