Habitat for Humanity seeking volunteers

Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County is seeking five volunteers to help families who have recently been accepted into the Habitat for Humanity program prepare for home ownership.

Duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring sweat equity hours and classes are complete, assistance with budget counseling, creative problem solving, and serving as primary communications link between the family and volunteer site supervisors, staff, and other committee members. This is approximately a two-year commitment for seven to ten hours per week.

Also, Tom Baker, a local electrical instructor with Puget Sound Electrical Training, recently donated a laptop computer and a digital projector to Habitat for Humanity of Kitsap County.
