CK Library project receives $10,000
from Prudential NW

The Kitsap regional Library Foundation accepted the first substantial donation, a check for $10,000, from three Realtors at Prudential Northwest Real Estate in Silverdale, for its future CK/Silverdale Library Building.

Dennis Morrow, broker of the Prudential office, and Realtors Byron Harris and Mark Williamson presented the check at the Central Kitsap Community Council meeting held on Dec. 17.

The trio was involved in the $3.3 million sale of the future library building’s 7.2-acre site to the county in November of last year.

“We are thrilled to receive the $10,000 of seed money for the CK/Silverdale Library Building Fund,” said an elated Ellen Newberg, who manages the library system. “Kitsap Regional Library looks forward to serving the residents of Central Kitsap in a larger, more modern facility.”.
