Carmella Houston has joined CFA Northwest Mortgage Professionals’ Bainbridge Island branch. She will be specializing in construction and commercial loans and brings more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry to the firm.

Houston is very active in the community including volunteer work as secretary of the Bainbridge Island Rotary Club, HHHS, and as a Bainbridge Island Performing Arts Fundraising Committee member.

She also is coordinating a grass roots effort to create affordable homeownership opportunities for teachers on Bainbridge Island. Her other activities include running an Economic Development and Affordable Housing Consulting Business.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northern Michigan University and a Masters in Public Administration from Seattle University.
