The Bremerton-Kitsap Health District has begun providing sewage and drinking water permitting services at the City of Bainbridge Island’s Department of Planning and Community Development office at 280 Madison Avenue.

The Health District has initiated a trial program with the City to have one of its inspectors available one morning a week to provide assistance on land use issues, building site applications, sewage permits, and other permit questions. A Health District inspector will be available at City Hall from 9 a.m. to noon every Wednesday until the end of the year.

Customers are welcome to walk-in during assigned office hours, however, appointments are recommended. To make an appointment, call the Health District receptionist at (360) 337-5285.
