Following the company’s most successful year in its 72-year history, John L. Scott Real Estate has been named the 10th most successful independent residential real estate company in the nation, based on its 2002 sales volume. The company was ranked 12th overall in the nation for number of transactions.

The Power Broker Report, is an annual survey that ranks the top 750 independent real estate companies in the country. In the report, JLS was also identified as a member of the Billion-Dollar Club, based on the company’s gross volume of more than $9.3 billion.

John L. Scott Real Estate was founded in 1931 and is currently lead by third generation chairman and CEO J. Lennox Scott. JLS has 116 offices and more than 3,000 sales associates located throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho. It has six offices in Kitsap County as well as offices in Gig Harbor, Port Ludlow and Port Townsend.
