Well-known local title expert Greg Wilson recently joined the Silverdale office of John L Scott Real Estate.

Wilson began his career in the real estate industry as a title examiner in 1971 in Sacramento. In 1978, he moved to Oregon where he accepted a position as county manager for a small title company in Coos Bay. During that time he also taught Real Estate Principals and Practices at Southwestern Oregon Community College. In 1981, Wilson moved to Seattle and worked as a Commercial Title Officer for several years.

Wilson moved to Kitsap County in 1988 when he accepted a position as County Manager for a local title insurance and escrow company where he developed many close relationships in the Kitsap real estate community.

Wilson is also certified to teach continuing education classes in Title Insurance, Escrow and Tax Deferred Exchanges.
