Holly Ridge Center will hold its annual surplus building materials sale March 14 to 16 at Home & Garden Expo 2003, sponsored by the Home Builders’ Association of Kitsap County.

The annual fundraising event, which raised nearly $8,000 last year, benefits the Infant Toddler Program, serving more than 300 children, birth to 3 years old, throughout the Olympic Peninsula. The program focuses on children with special needs, including those with cerebral palsy, autism, speech disorders and developmental delays.

Volunteers are needed to help set-up, March 12-13, and staff the event, March 14 to 16. Holly Ridge will have a display of materials for sale in the President’s Hall at Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Volunteers will receive a discount on surplus materials — such as new doors, windows, plumbing, cabinets — sold at garage sale prices.
