Silverdale custom home builder Rick Courson, owner of Cedar Bay Homes, has been certified by the National Association of Home Builders as a University of Housing instructor.

He is qualified to teach the following courses: Builders, Remodelers and Indoor Air Quality, Energy Efficient Construction, On-Site Project Management, Off-Site Project Management, and Scheduling.

In addition, Courson is currently enrolled in the Project Management Program at the University of Washington.

Courson is also recognized nationally as an authority on green building and speaks around the nation on sustainable construction and the use of recycled and earth-friendly materials.
