Applications to amend county’s comprehensive land use plan will be available Jan. 15 at the courthouse in Port Orchard and on the County’s Web site, www.kitsapgov.com.

Individuals and businesses can submit applications for site-specific, text and area-wide amendments or to correct the land use designation map. Information packets containing directions on how to complete the applications and a description of the how the amendment process will work will be available.

Requests for pre-application meetings with staff to discuss an application prior to submitting one will be held Jan. 15 through Feb. 7.

The Department of Community Development will begin accepting applications on Feb. 12 through Feb. 28.
