President Tom Lamar of the Kingston Chamber of Commerce was on hand at Harbor Hair Design for what he thought was going to be just another ribbon cutting.

Kingston Chamber of Commerce president, Tom Lamar, found that Harbor Hair Design’s Lynn Hammond had more in mind than cutting ribbon at a recent ceremony recognizing her new location. With 30 years in the hair styling business and running her own business in Kingston since 1984, it is safe to say that Hammond knows here way around a pair of scissors — no matter what the size.

At her new location in the Bradley Center at 10373 NE State Hwy 104, Hammond, along with partner Sue Newman, offer hair cutting, styling, coloring, perms, and will be adding nail services in the near future.

Harbor Hair Design is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening appointments are also available. Reach them at (360) 297-3499.
