The Kiwanis Club of Central Kitsap has new officers They are President Peggy Walther, President-elect Keith Van Hook, Vice president John Park, Secretary David Middleton and Treasurer Carol Van Woudenberg.

The new board of directors includes Bruce Van Woudenberg, Buddy Jacobs, Bob Osborne, Virginia Anderson and Nora Zollweg.

Bruce McBurney, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Central Kitsap, was installed as lieutenant governor of the nine Kiwanis clubs in Kitsap County and north Mason County.

The club meets at 7 a.m. Wednesdays at the Sandpiper restaurant on Bucklin Hill Road in Silverdale.
