Association of Washington Business President Don Brunell was recently elected secretary of the Council of State Chambers of Commerce.

Brunell, AWB President since 1988 is scheduled to become chair of the organization in 2006. In addition to other duties, Brunell serves on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Manufacturers and is immediate past chair of NAM’s National Industrial Council, an organization of state manufacturing association presidents. Both organizations are based in Washington, D.C.
