P.O. Chamber honors Grable, Cottrell-Adams

The Port Orchard/South Kitsap Chamber of Commerce named Jack Grable and Leonne Cottrell-Adkins it’s Man and Woman of the Year at its annual installation banquet.

Grable, a former city council member and a 26-year volunteer firefighter, has built and towed floats for the Fathoms O’ Fun festival for several years. He is active in the Masonic Lodge and the local VFW Post. The chamber noted that Grable puts up and takes down the American flags on Bay Street.

Cottrell-Adkins, a South Kitsap High School graduate, is active in the arts community, helping to establish the Performing Arts Guild of South Kitsap, the Kitsap Peninsula Opera, and the holiday carolers for Bay Street merchants.

The chamber also installed its new officers. They are President Robert Putaansuu, President-elect Sharon Zerr, Vice President Debbie Austin, Treasurer Debbie Gurganious and Past President Jeffrey Cox.
