Bainbridge Island architect Bernie Baker recently had one of his waterfront residential projects published in The Taunton Press’ newly released residential design book, Patterns of Home by Max Jacobson, Murray Silverstein and Barbara Winslow.

The book covers the ten essential design concepts — or patterns — that shape and define a well crafted home. Baker’s work is shown under Pattern Eight — Refuge and Outlook.

Other works by Baker are published in Sarah Susanka’s popular book, Creating Not So Big House and Sunset Magazine October 2001 issue, Award Winning Homes.
