Angela Weeks has been named as sales and marketing manager at Island Door & Millwork, Inc. The announcement was made by Owner Tom Jorgensen.

Weeks recently moved to the area from Portland, Ore. where she was the owner of a manufacturing and importing business. “I eagerly look forward to learning a new industry, Weeks’ said. “My utmost responsibility is to assure outstanding customer service.”

Weeks added that being involved with a company like Island Door & Millwork, where quality products are the standard, makes her job easier. The company is also in the process of purchasing a 43 inch wide belt sander, and will be able to offer services that it had to previously contract out.

“I feel our environmently friendly Bamboo product line sales will boom with a little marketing effort,” said Weeks. “I enjoy developing a market for a new product line and I feel our Bamboo doors and cabinets will do quite well on the national level.”
