The Home Builders Association of Kitsap County (HBA) announces the 6th annual scholarship program, offering two $500 scholarships. Notice of both recipients will be forwarded to the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW), for their selection of additional $2,000 scholarships. Those interested in submitting an application should provide:

Name; address; phone number; school currently attending; One paragraph summary of your educational goals; Planned major or course of studies; and whether you are related to an HBA member or member employee.

Applicants pursing education toward a career in a construction-related field (carpenter, electrician, plumber, architecture, engineering, etc.) are given preference. The deadline for submission of applicants is Friday, Oct. 18.
