Windermere offices support local groups
Sales associates and staff with Windermere Real Estate’s four Kitsap group offices, Hood Canal and Port Ludlow recently teamed up with the Windermere Foundation in donating to the following organizations. The four Kitsap offices gave in total $9,500 to:
  • St. Vincent de Paul of Bremerton and Poulsbo each received $1,500 to assist low-income and needy families.
  • Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Silverdale received $1,500 to support their meal service and the Bremerton Foodline.
  • YWCA of Kitsap County received $5,00 for the YWCA Alive shelter, the only emergency shelter in Kitsap County for Victims of domestic violence and their children.

The Hood Canal office of Windermere contributed $1,000 to the First Presbyterian Church in support of family services and the Port Ludlow office provided $250 each to help a local students attend the Meadowood Springs Speech and Hearing Camp, a summer residential camp/clinic for children with speech and hearing difficulties.

The Windermere Foundation was created in 1989 to provide funds to social service agencies that offer housing and services to low-income and homeless children and families in their communities. Every time a Windermere associate sells a home, a portion of the commission is donated directly to the Windermere Foundation. Additional contributions from Windermere agents, managers, owners and staff, as well as the general public, as also accepted. For more information, contact your local Windermere office.
