| First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Port Angeles, which has an office in Poulsbo, recently received special recognition as the winner of the Federal Reserve/Federal Home Loan Banks’ 2002 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Award in the Lending Category.
Kendra Waggoner, Community Development Officer of First Federal, accepted the award on behalf of the association and the Lower Elwha S’Klallam Tribe. Waggoner and John Williamson, of the Lower Elwha Tribal Housing Authority, created the winning lending product. This CRA award program from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco recognizes creative product and service development contributing to the well being of communities. |
