Kingston Lumber adds new door,
window and millwork facility
Name is changed to reflect new emphasis

Kingston Lumber, a longtime fixture on Highway 104 as you come into town, has a new name and a greatly expanded product line. The firm is now known as Kingston Lumber Millwork and Supply.

The reason for the new name is to focus on the emphasis being given to the door, window, and millwork part of their business. The firm opened a new 6,000 sq. ft. door, window and millwork showroom facility on April 8.

Much of the showroom and office space in the original building has been completely refurbished and remodeled and a number of area builders work and products are now featured in the building. There is also a handy conference area where clients can meet with their builder or architect to select products for their new home or remodel project. There’s also a special area for children to play while parents shop.

Rita Riggs is overseeing day-to-day operations She boasts 20 years of experience in the business, and she has been instrumental in planning the general layout of the new showroom.

In the new facility, Kingston Lumber Millwork and Supply offers a full range of windows, entry door systems, sky walls, stair parts, railings systems, and hardware. The showroom is packed with actual, full-size product displays so customers can experience see how the windows, doors and other products actually operate in a hands-on manner.

Product lines include top manufactures such as Marvin, Insulate, Therma-tru, Simpson, Milgard, CertainTeed, Crystalite, Baldwin, Codel, and Johnson Postman.
