Windermere helps fire victims
The Windermere Foundation, which focuses on funds for homeless assistance programs, emergency housing and homes for battered women, has made an emergency contribution of $1500 to the Denise Young family. The family was displaced by a recent house fire in Suquamish.

The Windermere Foundation is funded by contributions made by Windermere Real Estate sales associates every time a transaction closes as well as agent sponsored garage sales, auctions and other fundraising activities, and contributions made by management, staff and clients.

Contributions from the Kitsap Windermere offices totaled over $10,500 in 2001. Distributions made back to local communities last year from funds raised in 2000 were: $3,500 donated to the YWCA; $4,500 to St. Vincent DePaul; $3,000 to Kitsap Community Resources; and $2,000 to the Royal Family Kids Camp.
