| The Kitsap County Association of Realtors (KCAR) recently installed the officers for the 2002 business year and recognized the contributions of its members for 2001. The Annual installation and Awards Banquet was held at PSNS on January 11. The following Officers and Committee Chairs were installed:
President, Lee Avery; President-Elect, Shawna Newman; Secretary, Dave Wiggins.
Installed as local directors were Beth Allen, J.B. Bartel, Phil Broms, Don Cady, Barbara Crabtree, Wayne Ellis, Anne Fair, Frank Mahaffay, Chris Miller, R. Scott Nielson, Dorothy Reincke, Marlene Scheffer and Vern Young.

The awards presentation recognized the individuals who gave their time and energy to the community as well as the association. These are the most prestigious awards KCAR gives. Realtor of the Year, David Jones; Realtor Special Achievement Award, Frank Mahaffay; Jenks Beard Community Service Award, Frank Wilson; Affiliate of the Year, Stacy Nicolet and Steve Stagner; Floyd Lickerish Realtor Spirit Award, Lee Avery; and Citizen of the Year Award, which recognizes a non-Realtor for community service, was presented to Sheriff Steve Boyer. |
